Bid Manager - Civil / Rail
Location - Birmingham

An exceptional opportunity to join a market leading civil engineering and rail infrastructure company in a Bid Management role, working with a professional commercial team reporting to Bid Director.
The Role
You will be responsible for the co-ordination of all tender submissions ensuring technical accuracy and compliance to customer requirements.
You will lead the tender process, attending meetings and developing relationships with clients while also ensuing commercial reports are completed and discussed with the Senior Leadership Team.
Responsibilities
* Ensure all tender documentation is recorded and assigned to projects
* Provide Feasibility advice
* Co-ordination of tender documentation and management of Quality
* Sense check Estimates against Health and Safety Requirements, Industry Standards and Environmental Legislation
* Identification of Opportunities and Risk
* Praparation of BoQ's /Schedule of Rates as well as first principle estimates
* Submit Tender Enquiries
* Review Subcontract Tender Submissions for inclusion on the Bid
* Prepare tender programme and methodology alongside delivery teams
Skills and Experience
* Experience of working in a similar Bid Management role for civil engineering or rail contractors
* Computer literate
* Industry recognised qualification
