The Role
As a knowledgeable Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will assist the commercial team on a new build development based in the West Midlands. You will liaise closely with the wider business and site teams to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
Duties
* Prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
* Work closely as part of the Commercial team
* Assisting and taking part in commercial management
* Adhere to company health & safety policies
* Communicate effectively with site team and subcontractors.
* Evaluate expenditure reports produced by internal cost systems
* Prepare bid enquiry documentation and critical evaluation of bids
* Administer contractual documents to both the Client and Subcontractors
* Assist change control and management by maintaining detailed schedules of values and ensuring the production and submission of Compensation Event Quotations.
* Monitor, update and prepare information / data required to assist the wider Commercial team in the production and maintenance of a detailed 'cost to complete'
* Liaise with site teams to maintain project records.
